I'm from the UK, and I feel obliged to point out certain facts:
1) American chocolate is rubbish.
2) No really.
3) See points 1, and 2.
Also, Kit-Kats were recently ruined by health fascist nonsense whereby the recipe was tinkered with to have less sugar. Congratulations, Nestle. You've just made the world that little bit darker. If you wanted some kind of dumb-arse diet Kit-Kat, you should have released it alongside the original. Now, Kit-Kats are dead to me.
My favourite chocolate is Cadbury's chocolate, but even Cadbury has suffered the ignominy of US interference. Originally a British company with a long and proud history of philanthrophy, it was purchased by American company Mondelez in a hostile takeover, and they have been foolishly tinkering with it ever since - most notably with Creme Eggs, which they have stopped making with Dairy Milk chocolate, and like Kit-Kats, those are now also dead to me. Bastards.
If that weren't enough, Mondelez ensure Americans get some kind of solidified cat vomit instead of the Cadbury's chocolate we get in the UK. They didn't try switching recipes with us because they knew that would result in Britain declaring war on the US. Personally, I think we should do that purely to get Cadbury back in British hands. Then we can hand America back to you lot, make sure you get proper Cadbury's chocolate and not the shit they currently try to pass off, nationalise Cadbury as an essential national public service (along with water, gas, electricity, etc) and put this whole sorry mess behind us.
Oh, and also the chocolate from Europe, especially Swiss, Belgian, etc, is also a damn sight better.
Sorry, this provoked quite a rant as you can see.
