I'm in the UK and have noticed no such shortage where I live (in southwest England). On another note, I am completely pro-local farming, and am a big believer in buying and eating locally. I want to see a reversal of recent trends so we as a nation farm a lot more, so we can be more self-sufficient. I have nothing but respect for farmers, who have been endlessly and needlessly demonised in recent years. They do bloody hard but essential work.
