I'm not sure it is. It's a vital part of American mythology, like the Old West. Don't be embarrassed by it. This God-save-the-King Brit still cheers truth, justice, and the American way.

I just hope they keep the John Williams main theme. Losing that is as foolish as losing the James Bond theme. By all means use an original score elsewhere, but it needs to open with that. :)
