I'm sorry, but these usefully traumatic incidents are way too good to be wasted here.

…ot in my right mind. They panicked, of course. I got to leave camp early, mission accomplished, and I was only very sick with a fever. It was the only time in my life that I was genuinely grateful for a rat.
