I'm surprised you didn't cite Apocalypse Now rather than The Godfather for your Coppola choice. That is surely the most horrific shoot of all time, and it is nothing less than a miracle that a masterpiece emerged from the ashes.

The shoot of The Abyss was also an absolute nightmare.
