I'm with him (and Indiana Jones) on snakes. I went to a creepy crawly handling session at a zoo with my children. Giant millepedes? No problem. Stick insects? No problem. Giant spiders? No problem. Snakes. Nope. I handed it back immediately. There's something about handling snakes that's like oil and water repelling. Perhaps it goes back to the Garden of Eden or something like that.
