In one sense, this is no different to what terrestrial television channels like the BBC and ITV used to do when censoring films, but at least they were open about what they did (ludicrous though it was). But that was largely in response to sex, violence, and bad language, not whether something is "woke" or if one of the actors has been "cancelled".
