In the UK, there are regular rereleases of all kinds of films, thanks partly to multiplex strategy here, and also thanks to the British Film Institute and their cultural preservation efforts. We are very blessed as a result. E.T. was rereleased a couple of years ago in cinemas, very extensively (for the 40th anniversary).

Outside of that, best get a 4K Blu Ray. I'm not really a streaming person (too unreliable). And I hate, hate, hate the way streaming makes you click off that annoying "up next" box when a film goes to the end credits, crassly taking you out of the experience and trampling over all notion of a slow curtain.
