Indeed.
On a non-sexual note, I am not a hugs person. For me, hugging is about trust, so I don't care to hug anyone outside my immediate family. My best friend is the only other person who gets hug privileges.
One church I used to attend was particularly "huggy". I would always offend people by refusing to hug them. Or I'd send my wife in ahead of me as a human shield (she has no issue with hugging people left, right, and centre), whilst I ducked past the greeters and went into the main auditorium.
