Shooting on analog film used to be perceived as something of an esoteric craft: capturing time on a piece of celluloid, while some knowledgeable magicians were able to provide proper exposure, lighting, and focus, then develop that fragile piece of celluloid through mysterious alchemic processes, and, finally, slice the film together for public enjoyment.
