Indeed. Vertigo features Bernard Herrmann's greatest score, in my not remotely humble opinion. His greatest score, in Hitchcock's greatest film.

A splendid piece on two of the greatest films ever made. I'm jealous that you got to see these in the cinema. Most of my favourites I've seen on a big screen at one point or another (including Psycho and North by Northwest, from Hitchcock's back catalogue) but not these - yet. :)
