Interesting argument re: Halloween. That's another great horror film. I'm not sure I'd have given it Best Picture that year (Midnight Express or Superman would have been my choice), but agreed in editing, possibly cinematography (though it's agonising to pick between this and Days of Heaven), and Original Score... Well, John Williams for Superman, for me. But I love the Halloween score too. :)
