Interesting piece. Some thoughts from me.

Not everyone on Medium writes fiction, but I firmly believe whatever one’s writing goals might be, this place should be a side dish, not the main dish.

In my case, fiction is the main dish, so novels and short stories come first. I strictly limit my time here, for that reason. But the articles I do put here - mostly about films - may become less in view of the views/reads/money issues (all are down, despite a plethora of new followers).
