Interesting point: Apparently the word bitch causes far more offence in France than the word that has Alison sent to the headmaster's office in Medium, which is considered quite mild by comparison. Yet in America people throw the word bitch around like it's going out of fashion. I think whatever culture you are in, it really does pay to be mature, take a step back, and accept that people in other cultures find words more or less offensive, and to therefore give them the benefit of the doubt, not go running off to teacher, so to speak. That's just pathetic.

Anyway, I'm not much a swearing person in terms of my own speech and writing, but I certainly don't get offended by it.
