It can be rather tiresome to be constantly villified for something entirely beyond one's control, but the antidote to that is to strictly limit one's time online (which I do), and remain in the real world, with the women in my life who love and care about me, ie, my wife, my mother, my sister, my female best friend (I've had a female best friend for many years, which I know is controversial to some), and so forth.

However, I give certain writers a lot of latitude on this subject, because I also understand where they are coming from. Alison is a case in point.
