It hates me too: Thankfully, having already used up my Spielberg slot (under my self-inflicted one slot per director rules), I sidestepped the impossible Jurassic Park versus Schindler's List choice. They are apples and oranges, obviously, but both landmark masterpieces in their respective genres. Also I love them both for completely different reasons.
Even without the Spielberg dilemma, there's Groundhog Day, In the Name of the Father, The Fugitive, Short Cuts, Carlito's Way, Aladdin, Farewell my Concubine, The Age of Innocence, Shadowlands.... And another film I won't mention, because I ultimately settled on it for my choice.
