It never ceases to amaze me that people online 1) think they have any business passing unsolicited comment on the physical appearance of another individual, and 2) feel they have enough facts to make sweeping judgements about that person and their life, persona, and so on.

I can only say I am deeply sorry that you experienced this, and that I wish you every happiness in the future. In the meantime, I will continue to read and support your work for the main reason I was attracted to it in the first place: Your erudite wit and general good taste. :)
