It was never "relevant".

… course, that was in The Before Times, pre-pandemic, and therefore feels more like a million years. It’s been so long that I am almost afraid the show is no longer relevant and won’t hold up. Silly, I know, but my perception of time skewed in our new normal.

It was never "relevant". It was nostalgic. For that reason, I suspect if anything it will be more "relevant" than ever, to those wanting comfort and escapism.
