It's a fantastic scene in a fantastic film without a CGI pixel in sight.

I was intrigued to learn that they did the face-melting without CGI. For a time, you could buy a candle of Toht and watch it melt, albeit much slower.

It's a fantastic scene in a fantastic film without a CGI pixel in sight. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, Raiders of the Lost Ark is the greatest adventure film ever made.
