It's a stunning scene. Also I absolutely agree that these films need the cinema. I saw this several times during the original run.

However, I whilst I take your point about too many films these days being shot for TV, I don't think that's true for everything. For instance, I shudder to think of Denis Villeneuve's recent take on Dune on TV. Christopher Nolan's films are also far, far better at the cinema (Dunkirk, the Dark Knight trilogy, etc).
