It's a waste of celluloid - another of Disney's pointless, because-we-can live action remakes. There's not a single good artistic reason for it to exist. My advice is stick with the animated one.

But if you do want a live action version, check out Jean Cocteau's magnificent 1946 monochrome masterpiece La Belle et la Bête. It's superb. :)
