It's been years since I saw the film, but I seem to recall in Lenny (about Lenny Bruce) there's a moment in his stand up routine when he tries to illustrate this point using this word. I wonder how this scene would play to today's generation? I remember thinking it was a pretty good film, beautifully shot in monochrome, with a fine central performance from Dustin Hoffman, but I wonder if I'd view it differently today?
