It's funny how radically diverged UK and UK pop charts were in 1994. I noticed this with Eric's piece too. There are some good songs here, but for me, 1994 was the year Britpop exploded (especially Blur) and The Prodigy released their best album (Music for the Jilted Generation).

As for 1994 itself, it was one of the best years of my life (I was 19). I left a long comment explaining why on Eric's piece. :)
