The most famous duel between women took place in Naples in 1552. Two aristocrats, Isabella de Carazzi and Diambra de Pottinello, fought over a man named Fabio de Zeresola. First, they attacked each other with lances, then switched to maces and swords. In the end, Diambra won. But did she win Fabio’s heart? History remains silent.
