That said, I think you'd be better off asking advice from someone like Eric Pierce if you want to start a publication that invites other writers. Simon Dillon Cinema isn't open to anyone else. I only started it because I wanted a convenient place to put all my new release film reviews (for films I see in the cinema only - I don't review streaming titles). I've written these reviews for about two decades - originally sending them around to an email list of friends, then it expanded to a couple of blogs (including my own), and now I put them here and on my own blog simultaneously.
