Leaving aside the horrors of the war itself, who do you realistically believe will face the consequences of the energy crisis to which you refer? If this statement is to have any value at all as an all-in-it-together-for-the-greater-good stance, rich western elites need to do their bit by allowing significant taxation of their vast profits, and sharing them to ease the bills of ordinary working people faced with horrible choices between heating and eating through no fault of their own. Ordinary people should be prioritised at a time like this, not shareholders.
