Let's get another thing straight: Bad Boys II is repugnant. A ghastly, incoherently edited, overlong, homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic, militaristic, misanthropic, offensively violent, thoroughly nasty piece of work from a creative vacuum of a director. Michael Bay has directed a lot of rubbish, but Bad Boys II is a thoroughly rotten low point. Whether it aspires to be great cinema is neither here nor there. There are silly ridiculous action comedies that I enjoy, but this isn't one of them. It is a pestilential pimple in the cleft of Satan’s buttocks. The end of civilisation as we know it. A sign of the apocalypse. I absolutely hated it.

That's my not remotely humble opinion, and a hill I will die on.
