Lynch's Dune is the only Lynch film I don't like. Thankfully, Denis Villeneuve did a great job years later (with the first half of the novel, at least - I'm looking forward to seeing the second later this year).

And Tarkovsky's Solaris is magnificent. I was captivated from my first viewing with that one. Such an amazing final shot too. :)
