Major League is a solid film, but I've not seen it in some years. Time to give it another watch.

I don't really think of Jerry Maguire as a sport film either. More a romantic comedy. I love Field of Dreams too, but again, I don't think of it as a sport film.

As for The Blind Side, I didn't much like it because I always thought it would have been a more interesting film told from his point of view rather than the Sandra Bullock character. But nor do I consider the film "problematic" (a tediously overused word).
