Most of my poems are silly, akin to the Roald Dahl Revolting Rhymes. But they aren't fit for publication. Outside of those, I do have the odd poem shoehorned into one or two of my novels - the melancholy romantic poem in Love vs Honour for instance - but even then I don't rate my poems very highly).

Sometimes I write poems with lots of in-jokes only intended for people close to me (my wife, for instance, or my best friend, who has also inspired a few).
