My favourite film of last year, Aftersun, was not nominated in the Best Picture category, which annoyed me. Still, The Banshees of Inisherin is terrific, as is Tar, and the rest of the nominees are fairly solid. The only films up for best picture that I dislike are Avatar: The Way of Water and Triangle of Sadness.
