My late, much missed father loved Christmas to the point that I believe he was the reincarnation of Charles Dickens. For that and many other deeply personal reasons, I love celebrating Christmas. I actually think my favourite-ever Christmases have occured during the last dozen or so years, as our children have grown up. Experiencing it through their eyes has been pure joy. They're getting older and more cynical now, but even so, we all still have great fun together at Christmas. Personally, I love that things grind to a halt for a while, and I also love watching lots of films (which I do all year round anyway, but planning my own personal Christmas film schedule from my extensive DVD/Blu Ray collection is always fun).
