My mother-in-law made us a Nativity scene made from knitted animals, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, angels, etc. We get it out and display it every year, but sometimes the children add figures to it. In any given year, we've had superheroes, Star Wars figures, and more recently the odd xenomorph (from Alien) gathering round to see Jesus.
