My not remotely humble opinion: I ask two questions. 1) Are both parties consenting? 2) Are both parties over the legal age of consent? If the answer to both question is yes, then it is none of my bloody business. Good luck to them.
My wife is the same age as me, but there is a massive age gap between my brother and his wife, and I get thoroughly irritated on his behalf when judgemental remarks are made (I don't think he or his wife give an airborne fornication what anyone else thinks - quite rightly too).
So, to the thrust of your article, whatever reason women may date younger men, if it's legal and consenting, I don't care. Good for them. :)
