My personal opinion: Regardless of Trump's innocence or otherwise, I fear this arrest and the ensuing media storm will play right into the hands of Republicans. He wants to be thought of as a martyr. He wants sympathy votes. And frighteningly enough, I believe he will get them. I fear he is going to be found not guilty. What's more, I fear he is going to win the next US election. I really hope I'm proved wrong.
