My wife loves all of those (ie monochrome films, The Great Escape, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid). She sings a hilarious rendition/parody of some of the music used in Butch Cassidy too! (You have to be there, really.)

In any marriage, different things are important to different people. To a cineaste like me, I needed someone who had wide and varied taste, given how much of my life is spent wallowing in film. But those are not her greatest qualities, and it would be insane to base a choice on that alone.

Glad you and your wife agree on music. I love that you go and see Springsteen together, etc. :)
