No, but it's a damn close second (see my other comment). I think Michael Caine is great in the lead, and it's mostly faithful to the novel (with some scarier edges removed - no ignorance and want, for instance, and the terrifying appearance of Marley becomes the hilarious appearance of "Marley and Marley"). All things considered, loads of fun. :)
