Normally they aren't as strict in terms of asking questions, but because everyone here expected The Batman to get a 12A rating (which means under 12s can go if accompanied by adults, unlike 15 which is a mandatory minimum age), certain cinema chains are clamping down on underage viewing. We decided to give it a shot anyway (our youngest is 13 and is tall for his age) and succeeded. I got him into The Godfather last week with no problems either (his first ever viewing).
