I'm not a fan for multiple reasons. The death of Jonathan Kent (an admittedly fine performance from Kevin Costner) is bodged in a fit of because-we-can tornado visual effects, in stark contrast to the far better played heart attack sequence of the 1978 film (unlike the tornado crisis in Man of Steel, this is a death Clark really couldn't have prevented).
As for the rest... Well, there's only so many times you can throw General Zod through a building before it just gets numbing.
