Not Duran Duran's best track, but I do like it. Also, The Reflex reached number 1 in the UK, but Dancing in the Dark only reached number 4, so you can't just blame Duran Duran for that one.
One more thing, if it makes you feel any better: The following year, A View to a Kill (which I consider one of Duran Duran's best tracks, and one of the best Bond songs due to its killer chorus) only reached number 2 in the UK (it reached number 1 in the US). I was most irked, as Paul Hardcastle's 19 kept it off the top spot, and I felt that was undeserving. 19 is an interesting musical curiosity but better than A View to a Kill? Not a chance. Alas, the purchasing whims of the British public...
