Not everyone has the attention span of a goldfish. If someone is incapable of enjoying a film as beautiful and moving as E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (which in my not remotely humble opinion is perfectly paced), I feel nothing but pity, just as I feel pity for anyone whose brain has been fried by TikTok and its ghastly ilk.
