Not sure about Villeneuve and I can't imagine Nolan doing horror, but Lanthimos is an intriguing…

Denis Villeneuve, for instance, may be the most obvious pick. Christopher Nolan would be another good option, though I can’t imagine he’d do horror all that well. I’d even like to see Yorgos Lanthimos try his hand at it.
