Of the two you mention, I definitely prefer You Only Live Twice. Ridiculous plot, yes, but fast-paced, thrilling, great action, best baddies base ever, we finally get to see Blofeld's face, plus Nancy Sinatra's amazing title song and John Barry's amazing music.

The Man with the Golden Gun is OK, but not one of my favourites. Christopher Lee is a great villain though, of course.
