Oh, please don't get me started on that. I once had some utter bore try and tell me certain jokes I was making (to another Jewish friend of mine) about Jewish stereotypes weren't funny. We both laughed in their face, before telling them to 1) mind their own business, as they were eavesdropping on our conversation, 2) that Jewish people are not a collective consciousness, and 3) that if someone laughs, it is funny, no matter how inappropriate, insensitive, politically incorrect, etc the joke might be.

It also amazes me that more people don't have the intelligence to grasp that a joke can be both offensive and hilarious at the same time, but that's another discussion.
