OK, you've convinced me.

Stanley Kubrick, the eminence of filmmaking and arguably the most important director of all time, “earned” a nomination for “Worst Director” for The Shining in 1980. Yeah. You read that right. While His Eminence didn’t “win” and the Golden Raspberry Awards have (somewhat) apologized for committing this act of filmic terrorism, this should indicate the quality of the judges behind the Razzies.
