On another note, I entirely agree that we, the audience, have no one to blame but ourselves for the state of the industry. It is our entitled, instant gratification culture, spitting our dummies when something is removed from our favourite streaming service, that has brought it to this. That's why many great bands wouldn't get a chance today. (For example, U2 were carefully nurtured by the record label for years, before they had a top ten UK single in 1983 with New Year's Day.)
