Please don't get me started on the demise of 35mm. It's something I still mourn. Great anecdote about your time as a projectionist. As a child, projectionists were like wizards in my mind, casting spells to bring your dreams to life. Downloading a file just isn't the same (and when something goes wrong with it, you're completely screwed, as my cinema employee friends tell me, some of them former projectionists).

There are a few key venues in the UK that occasionally use 35mm or 70mm, mostly in London, but sadly nothing within reasonable driving distance of yours truly.
