And then you have people like Jordan Peterson, who try to add an "intellectual" facade on the alpha bro culture, so that the beta bros can get their man-self-help fix while thinking they're actually being intelligent. I heard Peterson described one time as "a stupid person's idea of what a smart person is like".
Unfortunately there's a huge cadre of people who do unironically lap up everything those guys say…
