Quite honestly, based on this (great piece by the way) and the various other horror stories I hear about online dating, apps, swiping, and whatnot, I'm deeply glad I found my wife sometime in the early 14th Century long before any of this lunacy. To quote Ash from Alien: "I can't lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathies." :)
