Rather shockingly, I've not seen that version. Will have to track it down. I'm partial to the 1943 film with Orson Welles as Rochester, though in truth Joan Fontaine is far too beautiful for the part. Some of the other adaptations are good too, but I've not seen any to match the novel.

By the way - did you ever read Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys? It's rather good as a companion piece.
